#1: 1 to 3 November – JUST Egg Food Truck Experience

In celebration of World Vegan Day on the 1st of November, Singapore is proudly the first in Southeast Asia to serve JUST Egg. Driven by a fervent commitment to Hyatt’s philosophy on food, JUST Egg was sourced by Grand Hyatt Singapore for its positive impact on the planet as it has proven to require less water and fewer carbon emissions than conventional chicken eggs.

Made with a specially-prepared JUST Egg patty tucked in between a freshly-baked homemade corn bun, vegan cheddar cheese, avocado puree, and topped with tomato jam, come to indulge in their unique JUST Egg Sandwich creation for an introductory price of $5 nett.

#2: 2 November – Come Together Holland V (Carpark Party 2018)

Ever been to an outdoor cinema at Holland Village car park? Didn’t think so, so join The Local People for their one off movie night under the stars!

Early birds get to sink into limited bean bags at their instagram ready picnic area, or bring a mat and choose your own sweet spot. Remember to grab a kachang puteh from the Tong Garden Singapore cart or stop the skating servers for a bag of popcorn and candy floss before the movie starts.

#3: 3 to 4 November – SAFRA Entrepreneur Market Place

Returning for the second year, the SAFRA Entrepreneurs’ Marketplace is a curated showcase of a variety of homegrown innovations and ideas by budding entrepreneurs. All visitors will take home an exclusive Goodie Bag too.

This year, give your child a head start in entrepreneurship in the Kidspreneurs booth! Welcoming kids aged 4 to 12 years old, each registered kid will be given 2 hours to helm a booth for just $30! Each child will be entitled to a FREE ‘Kidspreneur’ trial lesson (worth $200) conducted by Ivy Cubs prior to the event. All proceeds from the sales will be donated to New Life Stories.

#4: 9 to 11 November – Neon Lights 2018

Singapore’s premier outdoor music and arts festival, Neon Lights, returns to Fort Gate, Fort Canning Park from 9 to 11 November 2018.

Expanding to a three-day event, this year’s Neon Lights includes a stellar line-up of international and local music acts while an eclectic array of arts programmes and activities will be available for all ages.

Heading this year’s Neon comback are New York indie legends Interpol, crowd favourite Yuna and electronic innovator Caribou!
Other acts featured over the three-day festival include ethereal dream-pop band Cigarettes After Sex, R&B enigma Rhye, local indie darlings Riot !n MagentaSobs and more! Also just added to the exciting line-up are hit-makers and everyday heroes Peking Duk!

Sunday Social returns to Camp Kilo Charcoal Club for another wholesome day of music, food and shopping!

The Sunday Social Market is a passion project of DJ Zig Zach and Jade Amar, with two very different backgrounds: Music and Fashion. #10: 5 November – KYGO Kids In Love Tour

Over the past three years, Charlie Puth has proven himself commercially with the extraordinary success of four multi-platinum hits, “One Call Away,” “Marvin Gaye,” and “We Don’t Talk Anymore” from his platinum-selling, Top 10 debut album Nine Track Mind, as well as his breakout hit “See You Again” — the best-selling song of 2015 worldwide that spent 12 weeks atop the Billboard Hot 100, earned him three Grammy nominations (including Song of the Year), a Golden Globe nomination, and 9x-platinum certification in the U.S. But the New Jersey-born singer, songwriter, musician, and producer was also eager to prove himself artistically when it came time to make his second album, Voicenotes, named after the trusty iPhone app he uses to collect his musical ideas. The Singapore Specials Run (SSR), first started in 2010, aims to raise awareness about the plight of the stray and abandoned dogs, who daily traverse long distances under the scorching heat and pouring rain in search of food, shelter and ultimately a home.

The Run hopes to put runners in their paws as to their struggle in life, and with their support to raise hope and funds to help more of these dogs.

Proceeds will be channelled into helping the many that we have rescued and residing at our shelter and foster homes, while awaiting their forever home.
